VENTURE STARS is a Munich based venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in innovative, digital B2C and B2B business models. Having started as start-up entrepreneurs ourselves, Venture Stars has a tradition of working very closely with the founders of its portfolio companies.

To strengthen and expand our team, we are looking for a working student on a 16-20h/week basis.

Tasks

Generation and prioritization of potential investment opportunities
Initial analysis of companies, markets, and competitive environments.
Support in all due diligence aspects for new investments.
Preparation of investment committee decision documents.
Support in the maintenance and further automation of our tool and tracking landscape.
Support with controlling and reporting tasks for the management of our portfolio.
Support with VENTURE STARS portfolio work and organization of events.
Development and implementation of own ideas to further develop VENTURE STARS.

Requirements

Advanced studies in business/economics, natural sciences/engineering (Master) with very good results.
Enthusiasm for the venture capital and start-up world.
Team player with a high degree of independence, creativity and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and very good written and spoken German & English.
First professional experience in fast-paced environments (Start-ups, VC/PE, IB, consulting)
