An independent investment firm, established in 2023, is seeking a dynamic professional to join its team. The firm specializes in the crypto and blockchain sectors, employing a diversified investment approach that includes venture investments, fund-of-funds, on-chain liquid crypto, DeFi positions, and the development of innovative index strategies in collaboration with security issuance partners.
Tasks
- Investment Due Diligence: Conduct thorough analyses of potential investment opportunities within the crypto and blockchain domains, utilizing fundamentals-led methodologies such as KPI multiples and discounted cash flow valuations.
- Operational Structuring: Assist in establishing and optimizing operational frameworks to support the firm's diverse investment strategies.
- Marketing and Fundraising: Collaborate on initiatives aimed at attracting external investors, particularly for liquid token and index strategies, to expand the firm's investment capabilities beyond its current balance sheet-backed model.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in investment analysis, preferably within the crypto or blockchain sectors.
- Familiarity with traditional financial analysis techniques and their application to emerging markets.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners.
