Be the Strategic Partner in Our People & Operations Team

At Viessmann Generations Group, we believe our people are the foundation of our success. We are looking for an HR Operations Lead to play a key role in shaping the employee experience, optimizing people operations, and ensuring compliance with German labor law. As the Deputy to the Head of People Operations, you will drive People process automation and contribute to a workplace culture that fosters engagement, fairness, and high performance.

This is an Individual Contributor role, ideal for an experienced, passionate professional who sets themselves high standards, and thrives on taking over full ownership for designing and executing excellent core People Operations processes, like Payroll and all contractual topics - in close collaboration with the People Operations Specialist. Previous experience in team leadership can be helpful but are not required.

Your Impact & Opportunity

As Senior HR Generalist, you will have an integral role in driving People Operational Excellence, compliance, and employee engagement across the organization. Acting as Deputy to the Head of People Operations, you will enhance automation, optimize people processes, and ensure an efficient employee lifecycle. This role offers an exciting blend of strategic People leadership and hands-on operational responsibilities.

Optimize & Automate People Processes

Oversee HRIS system (HiBob) and ensure seamless automation of people operations.
Enhance efficiency and compliance through data-driven people process improvements.

Drive Operational Excellence & Compliance

Ensure all people processes align with German labor law and industry best practices.
Oversee contract management, amendments, and employee documentation.

Empower the Employee Journey

Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.
Act as a trusted advisor on people policies, employee relations, and compliance matters.

Foster Relationships & HR Leadership

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, and external partners.
Support leadership in building a high-performance culture through people best practices.

Qualifikation

Who You Are

Passionate About People – You thrive in a people environment that balances process efficiency with people-first leadership.
People Operations Expert – You have 8+ years of experience in People operations, including contract administration, compliance, and automation.
German Labor Law Knowledge – You are well-versed in German labor regulations and can ensure legal compliance across People practices.
Bilingual Communicator – You speak German fluently (C1) and have strong English skills (C1) to support an international workplace.
Tech-Savvy & Automation-Driven – Experience with HRIS platforms (HiBob preferred) and a track record of automating processes.
Independent & Collaborative – You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in both independent and team settings.
