Role expectations: What you’ll be responsible for

• Shape the design, development, and implementation of core platform features, ensuring scalability, performance and alignment with customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to take new ideas from concept to production, ensuring a smooth and efficient development process.
• Utilize your full-stack expertise to create a cohesive and integrated user experience, bridging the gap between frontend and backend development.
• Architect and maintain REST APIs, ensuring they are backed by stable, scalable server-side implementations and maximize flexibility for web clients.
• Continuously refine and improve platform features, optimizing for performance, scalability, and user experience.

Your profile: What We Are Expecting From You In This Role

• A strong technical background with (for example) a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of experience in full-stack development roles (important: we mainly care about your skills & experience, not your degree!)
• Proficiency in a diverse set of programming languages and frameworks, including but not limited to JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python AND  most importantly Rust. Experience with TypeScript and Next.js is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in both frontend and backend development, including API design, database management, and creating user interfaces that delight users.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) that support scalable application deployment.
• A passion for building high-quality software that drives value for users, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
