Procurement Team Lader (m/f/d).
Tasks
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s growth and operational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, R&D, finance) to understand procurement needs and support project and product timelines. Ensure optimal support for productization roadmap
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and supplier management. Ensure appropriate setup, data quality in ERP system
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring strong partnerships and consistent delivery of high-quality goods and services
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate options based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Define and select strategic suppliers. Negotiate framework agreements
- Lead the procurement team (2), providing mentorship, support, and professional development
- Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations regarding procurement processes
- Track and analyze procurement performance, preparing reports and providing insights for continuous improvement
- Handle any supplier issues or disputes, ensuring resolution in a timely manner
- Lead procurement initiatives for special projects or key strategic purchases as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with experience in a leadership or team management role
- Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience with procurement metrics and performance tracking
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP systems)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to process efficiency. Proficiency in German and English
