We are seeking a Pricing Business Analyst to join our Global Delivery Operations team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of courier pricing. Our team is responsible for developing and executing Wolt's Courier Pricing strategy across all Regions, aiming to enhance delivery quality and drive growth in a capital-efficient manner.
In this position, you will support our relentless pursuit of operational excellence across all regions by delivering data-driven insights that optimize our operational performance. To achieve success, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Regional Operations, Product and Analytics. What you'll do
- Analyze and improve all aspects of courier pricing. You will use data to recommend and implement changes that enhance operational performance
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and other experiments to optimize courier pricing strategies
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address immediate operational needs while also contributing to larger, cross-functional projects that build the foundation for the future of courier pricing
- Partner up with Regional Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives
- Leverage tools like SQL, Python and machine learning models to uncover trends and opportunities
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels
What we're looking for
- A results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency
- A strong analytical foundation with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; terms like regression, SQL, Python, or ML models excite rather than intimidate you
- Understanding of causal inference and statistical concepts such as p-values
- Comfort tackling both quick, tactical analyses and strategic, long-term projects.
- Proactive ownership mentality - an independent and curious thinker who can work with limited guidance, but through grit and determination can deliver a successful outcome
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, dynamic environment.
- Bonus: Background in operations research and optimization. Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, or marketplace operations.
