Product Manager at a VC-Backed Greentech Startup

About Us:

We are a VC-backed startup at the forefront of the greentech revolution. Our mission is to combat climate change by optimizing the control of heating systems within the housing industry. By digitalizing and automating control processes, we aim to significantly reduce emissions and energy consumption, driving the energy transition forward.

As a (Senior) Product Manager, you will work directly with our Chief Product Officer (CPO) to bring our product vision to life: transforming residential buildings into auto-optimizing, CO2-neutral assets. You will be instrumental in building and developing our product function and leading the creation of customer-centric solutions.

Aufgaben

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CPO to define goals, milestones, and strategies, reporting directly to them.
• Assist in building a top-tier customer-centric product management department with designers and product managers.
• Lead product teams and communicate across departments to engage all stakeholders in developing customer-centric solutions.
• Plan and implement product roadmaps and associated Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Validate new product ideas, further develop existing solutions, and take responsibility for market success.
• Manage and optimize product development across cross-functional teams to realize our shared vision.

Qualifikation

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in product management, ideally in the energy sector.
• Experience with software products, preferably Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a focus on outcomes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, features, and initiatives clearly, and make decisions confidently.
• A hands-on mentality with a track record of successfully bringing products from idea to market or scaling them.
• Proficiency with data and experience in customer-centric (agile) product development.
• Excellent German language skills (at least C1 level).
