Packaging Engineer

Role Overview: A Packaging Engineer manages, deploys, and maintains software packages across enterprise systems using Microsoft SCCM. This role focuses on automating deployments, ensuring software compliance, and troubleshooting distribution issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Deployment: Collaborate with developers and application owners for successful automated software installations.
• Automation: Implement automation scripts (PowerShell, VBScript) to streamline deployments and updates.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve SCCM deployment issues and package errors.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, security, and development teams to align software packaging with organizational needs.
• Testing and Validation: Test and validate software packages before deployment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on packaging and deployment processes.

Qualifikation

Required Skills:

• Proficient English skills
• Software Packaging: Experience with packaging tools (e.g., InstallShield, ORCA).
• Scripting Proficiency: PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills for deployment issues and client-side errors.
• SCCM Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft SCCM for software distribution and patch management.
