Your mission
We are looking for you as Financial Analyst (m/f/d) for our headquarter in Munich.
As Financial Analyst (m/f/d) you will be part of a newly established team of 4 people, which acts as the backbone of the finance department. The Finance Operations team focuses on managing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring that the transactions of our existing business are executed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the stability of the organisation.
- Profitability Champion: You will support a portfolio of clients in the ‘Managed Service’ product area from a finance perspective. Your tasks will include the preparation of operational financial reports, supporting the month-end close, as well as identifying continuous improvements for profitability initiatives and process automation.
- Business Partner: You will act as an interface between FP&A, Accounting and Operations to support the alignment of financial targets with the business strategy and influence decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g. price elasticity).
- Performance and Cost Management: You will continuously monitor the drivers of growth and profitability and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Cashflow Strategist: You will assist in the preparation of inputs for monthly closings to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
- Problem Solver: You anticipate and create scenarios for various problem situations.
Your skillset
- Academic background: You have successfully completed a degree, ideally in finance, accounting or controlling.
- Relevant professional experience: You have around 2 years of experience in an analytical position, ideally in a finance team
- Analytical mindset: You have excellent analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy and a strong implementation orientation.
- Drive and dynamism: You have initiative, take a pragmatic approach and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
- Tools skills: You have excellent MS Excel skills and have already gained some experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Persuasiveness: You know how to use the results of your analyses to effectively convince your stakeholders in German and English and get them on your side.
