Ensure our continued growth and create a difference with us as Senior Backend Engineer (m/w/d) in our Headquarter in Munich or in our Offices in Berlin or Halle (Saale) or Germany-wide out of your Homeoffice.

• Responsibility: You are responsible for the further development of our self-developed platform using proven coding, design and quality management methods and find optimal solutions for technical problems.
• Coding: You develop our webbased platform using start-of-the-art approaches with PHP and Symfony, applying the prnciples of clean code and documenting your source code in a structured way.
• Improvement: You share your experience in the development and conception of new features with your product team and share your technical knowledge in overarching formats.
• Team: You are an integral part of a product team made up of experienced product people and engineers, exchange ideas with them on an equal footing to improve our platform and are the technical contact person for our junior engineers
• Know-How: You know your trade, get involved in validation and functional tests of modern IT applications or support with adjustments or maintenance and thus ensure the future-proof, efficient, scalable further development of our software solution

Your profile

• You have a relevant educational background in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences or technology or many years relevant of professional experience
• You are an experienced software developer and can demonstrate knowledge in the creation of a web application with PHP, Symfony, MySQL and other current technologies and also try out unusual things to drive the further development of our platform forward
• You like to familiarize yourself with complex systems and different user groups, set high quality standards and have a passion for software development
• You enjoy working in a cross-functional Scrum team and are happy to take part in cross-functional exchange formats (hackathons, tech days, ...)
• You are well versed in Git, containerization technologies (Docker and K8s), Jira and much more
• You communicate confidently in German and English and have a healthy dose of humor
