Senior Content Manager (18 months fixed-term contract)

THE ROLE

Zattoo is all about bringing exciting, fun, and entertaining content to our Users. The Content Team is responsible for clearing linear and non-linear content for all our Platforms. For this, we need your help. 
The Senior Content Manager takes over the entire handling of assigned partners, ranging from negotiation to internal coordination. In addition, the Senior Content Manager also represents the content department internally.

This role requires a person with an extroverted personality who's very enthusiastic about interacting with partners,  anticipating their needs, and helping to find good solutions for them.  You're also strong in recognizing where tasks and processes can be improved and taking the initiative to improve them.  Going above and beyond to help people and make sure they have the best possible experiences makes you happy and comes naturally to you.  You pay extreme attention to detail and take pride in delivering high-quality work in every task. THE TEAM

Content is what fuels our platforms and brings them to life. 

For our B2C and our B2B businesses, we are responsible for clearing the rights needed to ensure a great experience for our users. We do this by handling all parts of this process, from negotiating via contract management all the way to reporting. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Negotiate deals with content partners in the DACH region 
• Being the go-to person for these content partners (TV channels, VoD licensor, etc.) for arising topics
• Answer all questions from internal departments on content partnerships and the legal possibilities and limitations defined in our  contracts
• Coordinating content-related tasks within the Zattoo team (e.g. with Product Management, Development, and Customer Service teams) and making sure that requirements are met

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• You have professional experience, preferably in the media industry
• You have a knack for people and building professional relationships is your thing 
• Experience in negotiating is required 
• Fluency in spoken and written German (minimum C1 level)
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Highly proficient in MS Excel, thorough knowledge of file-sharing tools (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, etc.)
• Understanding of basic performance KPIs, ability to work with data and analytics tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment and attention to detail
• Independent, structured, and well-organized working style with the ability to handle multiple tasks with various priorities
• Strong interest in Zattoo and Over The Top (OTT) TV landscape with a willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of Zattoo's country-specific services and overall OTT industry landscape
