The role
As Marketing Technology Manager at Zenjob, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence within the Marketing team, handling diverse topics including automations, tracking & attribution, and data integrations.
This role suits someone with a strong technical background, as well as experience working with both Acquisition and Retention marketing teams. As the role involves a high degree of autonomy, the successful candidate will display a strong sense of self-sufficiency, a strong work ethic and desire to take on new projects.

Our growth financing round of $50 million (€45 million) from February 2022 is helping us to scale our platform and add new data-based automation features for our rapidly growing customer base.
What you'll be doing
- Driving Automation: Proactively seeking out manual processes in the Marketing team and automating them using existing tech infrastructure like Retool and Airflow
- Tracking and attribution: Implement new page, event, and conversion tracking mechanisms to monitor user interactions effectively
- Technical design: Create email & inapp templates, as well as landing pages to support Marketing campaigns
- Integrations: Managing data import and export processes, with support from Data team where appropriate
- Project management: Communicating with Engineering teams and managing cross-functional projects
- Compliance and Privacy: Managing legal compliance procedures within the Marketing team
- Troubleshooting and testing: supporting the Marketing team with technical issues
What you'll bring
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a technical marketing role, with a particular focus on automation
- Technical Expertise: Solid skills with at least one scripting language e.g. Javascript, Python. Additionally, you have good experience with HTML/CSS, as well as SQL for querying databases. Tooling: Ideally, familiarity with our existing tech stack or equivalents: Braze, Adjust, Retool, Segment, Usercentrics, Tableau.
- Growth Mindset: Independent and self-sufficient. Proactively seeks out new opportunities for increasing technical excellence in Marketing. A 'task sponge' with strong desire for learning and personal development.
- Innovative Thinking: Creative problem-solver with an ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
